Cynosure has assembled some of the industry’s most experienced professionals to form our core management team.
Dennis Cronje has been managing director since Cynosure’s acquisition of Palomar Medical Technologies in June 2013. Prior to this he was managing director of Palomar Medical, since the company established a direct presence in the region in July 2008. Dennis has been involved in light-based technologies for over 11 years and has had experience in the medical industry since 1987. He has held senior management and directorship positions in sales and marketing, has a qualification in Advanced Marketing, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Andrew Poulos has been managing his role since Cynosure’s acquisition of Palomar Medical Technologies in June 2013. He also held this role when Palomar Medical Technologies went direct in 2008. Andrew has held management roles within the laser aesthetic industry since 2002. Prior to this Andrew came from the scientific analytical and medical diagnostic industry and has been servicing/managing these combined industries for over 30 years. Andrew’s qualifications covers industrial and electronic tertiary education along with complementary courses suited to the industry.
Harry Izmirlian has been our finance manager since March 2014 and brings a wealth of financial accounting experience from the petroleum and book publishing/distribution industries. From August 2010 to March 2014, he served as the financial controller of Doubleday Australia, an online books and entertainment retailer. From November 1998 to March 2010, he served as the financial controller and company secretary of Simon and Schuster Australia, a local subsidiary of major US publishing company Simon & Schuster Inc. who in turn represents the publishing arm of CBS. Izmirlian is CPA qualified and has been a finance professional for over 20 years.
Bill Beedie has been with Cynosure since August 2015 and is a highly experienced Australian ICT sales specialist, successfully leading high performing sales teams across a diverse range of Australian industries. Bill’s sales career spans a diverse range of industries including Local, State and Federal Government, Manufacturing, Mining and Distribution. Whilst Bill’s roles and titles have been quite diverse, the central theme has been around building top line revenue focusing on sales for tier one companies such as Prometheus, Deloitte ICS, Oracle and Honeywell Australia.
Tracey Cannon joined Cynosure in March 2016 and has around 15 years experience in developing and executing innovative business and marketing strategies as well as promotional campaigns for a diverse range of industries. Tracey attained both a Masters of Commerce, Marketing and a Bachelor of Commerce. She has led marketing teams for large corporates, as well as start up ventures, specialising in digital marketing, web strategy, analytics, e commerce, brand strategy, social media, corporate communications, media strategy & relations, PR,, experiential marketing, and customer service.
Sandra Sostres has been the National Clinical Manager at Cynosure since 2014 and is a degree qualified nurse with over 13 years’ experience practising in both cosmetic medicine and nursing. After graduating, Sandra specialised as an operating theatre nurse. She has also worked as a Territory Manager for Pierre Fabre, Dermo cosmetic division for the Avene/Klorane product. With a passion and interest for skin, Sandra chose to go down the path of Cosmetic Nursing. She has worked in the field of cosmetic and plastic surgery within an array of clinics. Prior to joining Cynosure, Sandra spent 2.5years within the aesthetic laser industry as a Clinical Educator and Clinical Manager. Sandra attends National and International conferences and she is also a member of the ASLMS.
